About Us
In late summer 2007, Vendetta Racing was established as a racing body to enter into the third year of the UAE National Motorcycle Championship, held at the Dubai Autodrome. A brand new Suzuki GSXR 600 was prepared to compete in the 'stock' class of the championship with Alan Boyter as the team rider. It was a learning season with the aim to chase the championship the following year.
The 08/09 Season, now called the UAE Sportbike Championship added a new 1000 class along with the 600 Stock and SuperStock.
Mahmoud Tannir joined the team along with 2 new Yamaha 600cc R6 bikes, Team support and mechanics, Vendetta Racing grew considerably and with an overall ranking 4th and 6th in the championship it was proof that the team worked well and before the season was finished plans were afoot to chase the top spots on the podium for the 09/10 season.
For 09/10 Season, the rule changes have enabled modifications which will level all the bikes in their abilities, resulting in even closer racing. 2 classes will run, the 600 and 1000. Both classes have very similar rules so the only varying factor is engine size. We’re hoping that the new Triumphs will give us the competitive edge over the Japanese inline 4 machines enabling Vendetta Racing to win the 600cc Sportbike Championship.
