02 April 2010 - Round 7, Are we there yet?

Race 1,
I had qualified 7th, Just couldn't get to grips with the track but I didn't manage to light any fires during the race either. With my team mate quite a distance in front and the next person behind me a good bit away I just coasted to the end...theres always race 2.
Race 2,
I got a good start but got held up by Osman's Flying R6 in turn one again (becoming a habit). He almost highsided in front of me at the hairpin so I took the opportunity to pass and chase down my team mate. I had caught back up to Moody by lap 5 but was unsure about passing as i didn't think had the energy to battle for another 7 laps! I sat on his rear wheel until the penultimate lap and made my move on the brakes into turn one. I tried to keep it clean to the end but half way round the penultimate lap the race was red flagged due to an incident which meant the results go back to the lap prior....my patience and pass wasted! ah well, that's racing I guess.

Race 1,
Well, After removing the PC3 after some testing last race, the bike went back to its previous fueling mode, which caught a bit by surprise as I didn't expect so much jerkiness from removing the PC3!
Unfortunately I wasn't very comfortable in the race trying to forget the fueling issues and concentrating on the race.
The guys in front got a better start and I couldn't catch up after about 5 laps and finished 6, had a lonely race and finished we are now waiting for the release of the PC5s for the Triumphs, though that will only happen for the next season.
Too bad!
Race 2,
Don't know whether it was the heat or just me but my lap times kept increasing rather than dropping, ouch!
After few laps, I found my self being overtaken by my mate who I had no idea he was that close. I kind of liked the idea of a bit of scruffing around, though luckily for me, the race got red flagged due to a crash, and I finished
again 6th ahead of Alan as we had to go back to the lap before the race was red flagged.
Looking forward to the last race of the season and hopefully injury free for all the racers and I hope we put on a good show.
