What a shocking end to a very exiting season!
After the morning practice that went well, the team was ''all go'' to put on a performance in qualifying and forget about the last couple of races.
Unfortunately just before heading to pit lane, while on the last runs of the Gulf Radical Cup qualifying practice, the red flag was up to announce the end of the session and ultimately the end of the day! One of the cars hit the wall on turn 16 and set the engine on fire. The next couple of hours where one of the toughest to handle around the Autodrome as the marshals and organizers announced the severe injuries of Christophe Hisset the drivers who couldn't make it by the end of the day!
It was a sad day for the team and everyone else present on the track, we hope not to encounter such accidents in the future and wish only the best and safest runs for all contestants.
Vendetta Racing would like to extend their deepest condolences for the family and friends of Christophe who was one of the most experienced and known drivers in the region and in Europe.

The final standings were posted days after the incident.
Mahmoud and Alan has finished 5th and 6th respectively in the 600cc class championship.
This season was very much a learning curve with the new Triumphs, now we are making sure to get all the race parts needed that weren't available before and with some summer training, there shouldn't be any problems pushing for top spots in 2010 / 2011.

We would like to thank everyone from the team, Aldrin and the guys who did a great job in keeping the bikes running, Debs and Jen for always being there for us, our sponsors Probikes, Stuff and Performance Moto for their continuous support, families, friends and fans who are always cheering us, all the guys from Dubai Autodrome for their organizing and facilitation, and of course photographers for their skill in making us look good out there.

Looking forward for the coming season,....roll on 2011.
