About UAESBC
Under the auspices of the Automobile & Touring Club of the United Arab Emirates (ATCUAE), the Dubai AutodromeMotorsport Club (DAMC) is the organising club of UAE National Racing events including the UAE Sportbike Championship.
The 2009/2010 UAE Sportbike Championship will be run over eight National Race Days hosted in the United Arab Emirates and is invariably one the highlights of any UAE National Race Day. The speed and sound of the state-of-the-art motorcycles combined with the gravity defying cornering ability of the top riders makes Sportbike racing popular with fans and competitors alike.
The UAE Sportbike Championship is open to competitors driving mass production based 600cc and 1000cc motorbikes accepted by the Championship Organisers which are prepared and raced in compliance with the regulations and segregated into the following groups:
600cc Sportbike Class
-Up to 600cc in-line 4 cylinder
-675cc 3 cylinder
-750cc 2 cylinder
1000cc Sportbike Class
-Up to 1000cc in-line 4 cylinder
-1098cc 2 cylinder
-1198cc 2 cylinder
The maximum age of the vehicle entered must be no older than 5 years from production date.
